Best Pickled Pineapple Pork Loin
Pork Slow Cooker Pineapple is an amazing dish, economical and full of flavor, which you should definitely try! I prefer to fry the pork before adding it to the slow cooker, but you can easily add all the ingredients without browning.
Ingredients
Pork loin 2-3 pounds (devoid of fat)
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
salt and pepper
8 cloves of garlic (minced meat)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 23.5 ounces can of pineapple slices with juice
Instructions
- Trim pork loin from excess fat, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add oil as soon as it becomes hot, add pork and brown on each side for about 2-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add pork to the slow cooker, grate with garlic. Add soy sauce and pineapple slices with pineapple juice to the slow cooker. Distribute brown sugar evenly over pork.
- Put the lid on the multicooker and cook over low heat for 4-6 hours to make a soft pork loin, which can still be cut into slices.
- NOTE: if you want the pork to be very soft, to cook the pork in pineapples, cook it over low heat for 8-10 hours, making sure during cooking, lift the lid several times and pour juice onto the pork using a ladle. to keep it wet. After you chop the pork, add it back to the slow cooker and cook over low heat for another hour.
- Serve and enjoy!
