Easy Crockpot Shredded Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Easy Crockpot Shredded Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Looking for simple chicken recipes? This chopped buffalo chicken is made with just 4 simple ingredients! It's damn good in a bun or even in a salad if you keep it low in carbohydrates. Cook it high or low in your slow cooker, and enjoy it for lunch or dinner.
Servings Per Container: 6
Ingredients
3-4 large chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
1 (12 oz) Frank Buffalo Wing Sauce Bottle
1/2 packet ranch seasoning bag (approximately 2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons of oil
serving rolls
Instructions
- Sprinkle your slow cooker with a non-stick sprinkler. Place the chicken, buffalo sauce and ranch seasoning mixture and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or 3 hours.
- After the chicken is fully cooked, use a couple of forks to chop the meat (I find it easiest to put the chicken on a chopping board for chopping, and then put it back in the juice pan).
- After chopping, add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan and let it melt; mix to combine.
- This is it! I find it best served on buns with a hood seasoned with a small ranch sauce. You can also serve with blue cheese crumbs or coleslaw.
