INSTANT POT ORANGE CHICKEN RECIPE

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 tablespoon rice wine
Chop 4 cloves of garlic
1 orange zest
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
  2. Pour oil into the pan and press “Sauté”.
  3. Add the chicken cubes and cook for 5 minutes until they turn brown. Stir constantly so that they turn brown on each side and do not allow them to stick to the pan.
  4. Add orange juice, tomato sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, rice wine, garlic and orange zest and mix.
  5. Block your Instant Pot and cook under high pressure for about 5 minutes
  6. Chill out ..
  7. Open the lid and press “Sauté” again.
  8. Add corn starch to thicken the sauce and mix. If your chicken has dried too much, add another orange juice.
  9. Cook for about 2 minutes until the sauce reaches the desired texture without lumps.
  10. Add chicken to a serving bowl, sprinkle with fresh steam on top and serve with rice if desired.
