SHRIMP FAJITAS RECIPE

Shrimp fajitas is delicious and couldn't be easier! Shrimp fajitas recipe in one pan with lush succulent shrimps, tender charred vegetables with stunning fajita marinade.

Ingredients

Fajita Marinade Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 4 cloves of minced garlic
• 1 tablespoon lime juice from 1/2 lime
• 1 tablespoon Cajun spices
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Prawns Fajita Ingredients:

• 1 pound of large peeled shrimp designed
• 2 chopped peppers (any color)
• 1/2 chopped medium onion
• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
• 2-3 tsp lime juice (from 1/2 lime)

Serve:

• 8 small flour cakes
• Jalapeno Ranch
• 1 avocado chopped
• 1 lime cut into slices

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the marinade ingredients: 1/4 cup olive oil, 4 cloves of garlic, chopped juice, 1 tablespoon of lime juice (1/2 of lime), 1 tablespoon of cajun spice, 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  2. Cut bell peppers and onions of the same thickness 1/3 ”and place the vegetables in a medium bowl. Pour half the marinade, and then mix.
  3. In the second medium bowl, pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel, add the remaining half of the marinade and mix.
  4. Heat a large heavy frying pan over medium heat with 1/2 tablespoon of oil, and when it is hot, add the shrimp in one layer and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side or just until cooked and no longer visible, then quickly transfer to a plate.
  5. In the same pan, add the pickled vegetables and fry until soft golden on the edges (10 minutes), stirring occasionally, then turn off the heat.
  6. Add the shrimp back to the pan along with 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice to taste on the mixture and mix. Serve fajitas with toasted or fried tortilla * and jalapeno ranch, or your favorite sauce.

Recipe Notes

  • To warm the cakes: Wrap a pack of 5 in a damp paper towel and microwave in the microwave for 30 seconds until warm.
  • To To Tortillas: Place individual tortillas on a hot dry frying pan, skillet, low gas flame, or grill for about 15 seconds on each side until they are lightly browned.
